Toavis the Faerie Toad

Toavis is a Faerie Toad discovered in the wetlands of Florida while on my travels on the Mobile Magick Lab.

Species Profile:

Taxonomy:  Bufonidae x faeus
Common Name:  Faerie Toad
Diet: Consume
grubs, spiders, worms, insects, slugs, snails and other invertebrates.
Habitat: Found amongst cypress knees next to swamps, rivers and other waterways.
Physiology:  Same general anatomy as a common (non-magical) toad, however can be a variety of vibrant colors, and have wings and plant matter growing from their back. They can only fly short distances, much like chickens.
Magical Abilities: Secrete a magical poison from their
skin as a defense mechanism when feeling stressed or threatened. This poison, while not harmful to humans in its natural state, can be used in curses and hexes to increase their power.

----------

This art toy is made from my own original sculpt, and molded and casted in resin. It is painted with acrylic paint, made with my own handmade wings and my own handmade glass eyes. It includes artificial plants.

This Toad measures approximately 2" tall (not including plants) x 2.5" wide, is not a children's toy and is for indoor use only.

Please do not store in a planter, garden or anywhere that gets saturated with water, as it will deteriorate the paint and harm the sculpture.
